A new year!

First of all, a happy 2010 to all of you! May there be a lot of good music coming to your ears this year. We will also try our best to make that happen.

And now on to the first major update on Twiggy:
We've got another guitarist! So we're with the 3 of us again. And guess who the guitar player is: No one less then Maarten, yes, the same Maarten who left almost a year ago. We've jammed for a couple of times now, and it was like he never left.
So now we only need a bassist, and Twiggy will be complete again!

We're still very busy writing new material, and the new stuff we have so far is awesome. Maybe we'll record it soon and give you a sneak preview.

And then there were two...

As you might have known Maarten has quit the band in Februari, and now we have some new line-up news...

We've decided that we could no longer play with Ronald aka R0m0. Although he's a skilled bassplayer, there were things about him that got us to a point where we could no longer work as a team.

Quick summary: When you're always too late and you don't comply with the appointments you've made, there will be a time when we've had enough. And that time has come.

So...if you happen to play bass, and want to join us, feel free to contact us. We would gladly hear you to play our tunes.

Also, if you don't play bass, and want to join us, feel free to download our songs and play them as loud as you can, everywhere.

Just one last thing: We won't be gigging soon (duh!), but now with only two left, it doesn't mean we're not gonna make music anymore. We're still writing musical masterpieces. Well, that's what we've been doing anyway.

Quick Update

Just a quick update:

The gig on september 26th has been cancelled.
On september 18th Long Way Down will come all the way from Groningen to help us entertain you, and for october 3rd Poultry was chosen to take the last available place on the bill.

New gigs planned

As some of you might have noticed, we have planned some new gigs from september on. One of them (october 3rd) is one you really don't want to miss, so be sure to be there!

For now, this is the list:
september 18 @ JJ Music House (Zoetermeer) with Tim Vantol (SE)
september 26 @ HPC (The Hague) (Other bands to be announced)
october 3 @ Scum (Katwijk) with Bambix (yeah!), Nitrominds (from Brazil), All the Hats (Argentina) and one other band (to be announced)

For more gigs: we'll post them in the gig-section as soon as they're certain.

See you all at one of our gigs, and again: try to be there at october 3rd, cause that's gonna be a special evening!

CasB to replace Peter Bambix

As many of you will know, CasB is a huge fan of one our influences: Bambix. Bambix' drummer Peter unfortunately injured himself, and wouldn't be recovered in time for the 2 shows in Germany on May 8 and May 23.

Bambix went on a quest to find a replacement-drummer, and chose CasB! MacBeer and I are really excited for him, and are certain they couldn't have picked a better drummer for the job.

Everyone that wants to see CasB playing with Bambix:
May 8, Havengeburtsdag in Hamburg
May 23, Chemiefabrik in Dresden

2 other dates have to be confirmed, we will post them when they are certain.
